Thatcham Wado Karate Club was founded in 1993 by Sensei Paul Knight. Over the years it has changed its times and location but has remained a part of Thatcham's sporting community. The club is now run by Sensei Stuart Hauxwell.

We operate under the England Wado Kai Federation.

Training Times

Classes take place on a Friday evening during Term Time, in the Thatcham Memorial Hall.

At the present time we are running one class only, 7:30pm - 9:00pm for all ages (From 6 years and up) and grades.

(Club is closed for school holidays, dates confirmed in advance)

No contracts or fees to be paid in advance, we operate on a 'pay as you train' basis. Payment can be made by cash or card upon attendance at club.

Two Lessons Free

We offer two free trial lessons to all new beginners interested in finding out if Karate is for them, please contact us to let us know of your interest in joining a class. All you need is some loose, comfortable clothing (track suit bottoms and a t-shirt) and a drink.
