Thatcham Wado Karate Club was founded in 1993 by Sensei Paul Knight. Over the years it has changed its times and location but has remained a part of Thatcham's sporting community. The club is now run by Sensei Stuart Hauxwell.

We operate under the England Wado Kai Federation.

Training Times

Classes take place on a Friday evening, in the Thatcham Memorial Hall.

At the present time we are running one class only 7:30pm - 9:00pm for all ages (From 6 years and up) and grades.

(Club is closed for Bank Holidays)

No contracts or fees to be paid in advance, we operate on a 'pay as you train' basis, payment can be made in cash or via paypal - please message us for payment details if you would prefer to pay online.

Free First Lesson

We offer a free trial lesson to all potential new beginners interested in finding out if Karate is for them, please contact us to arrange a time to join in with a class. All you need is some loose, comfortable clothing (track suit bottoms and a t-shirt) and a drink.
