About out Club

 

Thatcham Wado Karate Club was founded in 1993 by Sensei Paul Knight. Over the years it has changed its times and location but has remained a part of Thatcham's sporting community. The club is now run by Sensei Stuart Hauxwell.

 

We operate under the England Wado Kai Federation.

 

 

Training Times

Classes take place on a Monday evening in the White Hall, Francis Baily School, Thatcham.

Junior Classes (Age 6 upwards): 7pm until 8pm

Cadets and Adults (over 12s): 8pm until 9pm

(Club is closed for Bank Holidays)

 

No contracts or fees to be paid in advance, we operate on a 'pay as you train' basis.

 

Free First Lesson

We offer a free trial lesson to all potential new beginners interested in finding out if Karate is for them, pop down to the club and join in with a class all you need is some loose, comfortable clothing (track suit bottoms and a t-shirt) and a drink. Or feel free to come down a watch a lesson if you'd prefer to see how training is run before joining in - no obligation.
